Dada’s quote of the day,’因誤會而結合, 因了解而分開。’

This quote strikes me as something horribly true and somewhat sad.

Maybe that’s why people say that love is blind. When you like each other, everything seems perfectly fine, even flaws seems like something acceptable, something that makes that person more human.

I always believe that everyone has something special about them, may it be their flaws, and may it be their outstanding talent. They come as a package, if you try to change them; they are not ‘them’ anymore.

There are also situations whereby when people get together, they already have a picture of that person in mind, an assumed image of what that person might be as you get to know. This assumed image of that person might not be that one as predicted.

Thus the more we get to know that person, the more we feel that the person is not we think that they should be. If we are unable to accept this ‘new’ person we have come to know, you can no longer get along with this person that is when you leave each other.

Maybe that is why people’因誤會而結合, 因了解而分開。’
